Me oh my, I am a sucker for some depressing music with some titties on the cover. I am sure that’s just a symptom of some undiagnosed mental illness. Album is great.

🤣 Hahaha, this fucking guy hates wearing shirts. I almost saw these guys in Brooklyn a few years back with the drummer of a project I am in but his backing band got detained by customs or some bullshit. We hung out with him record shopping though, he did have a shirt on for that though. Nice enough bloke.

Вот с этого альбома они и начали играть дум дэт (а не "дэт метал со скрипкой"), когда после выхода Turn Loose The Swans благополучно расстались с этим жанром, изредка поминая его на будущих релизах и живых выступлениях.

Definitely the best MDB album. Has anyone noticed that they reaaalllyyy took a turn for the worse lyrically after this one? I mean I still like the other albums after this, but in the lyrics department this one is light-years ahead of everything else.

Very heavy and very creepy. Awesome album. The growls Aaron Stainthorpe made on this album, are splendid!

I haven't been appreciating this record until now... Great atmosphere of bereavement (especially when I hear those dirge keys in "The Return of the Beautiful") and kvlt riffs . However, I don't think it's a good album to start listening MDB, I'd recommend the latter one.

This album was my introduction to My Dying Bride . I love all of their works, but this one will always be very special to me .
