Biography
My Darling Murder is a collaboration of 4 veterans of the Phoenix
local music scene. Assembled from bands including Opiate for the
Masses, Waste, and Thurteen, the four members got together hoping
to change the tone of rock music. With influences ranging from
NIN, Faith no More, Tool and Radiohead, MDM has an eclectic sound
that is unparalleled in its genre. Started in Sept 2004 by
ex-Opiate for the Masses drummer Elias Mallin, MDM quickly
established its sound while intensely writing and recording in
their hometown of Phoenix, Az. The band reciently finished
recording their debut EP with acclaimed producer Sean Beavan (NIN,
Marilyn Manson, G N' R, Unwritten Law). The self-titled Ep was
released on March 6, 2005. With upcoming tours, writing and
recording, MDM strives to meet the anticipation and buzz it has
already created.
