The Mexican duo Jorge (Joy) Carrasco and Luis Delgado have been involved in Electronic music for more than 10 years and now they are
joining forces to produce quality Electronic Music under the name "Monolythe".
Joy started his musical career when he was 16 years old, playing guitar and keyboards on a local Rock band. In 1994 his band "Naranja Mecanica" released a record on a major Record Label "Universal Music".

After the split of the band at the end of the nineties Joy concentrated in his Dj career and electronic music production, releasing some tracks in the German label AP Records under the name of "Space" and as a DJ resident on “De santos” club in Puerto Vallarta Mexico .

Luis started his musical career also on a really young age, first joining school and learning Baroque Flute and Quena, when he was only 8 years old, then he started to develop interest for the technical part of music helping a few local bands mixing their live performances in the beginning of the nineties. Then he started to colaborate with “Naranja Mecanica” as a 1st sound enginer, manager and producer. At the end of the nineties, he started to get involved into the electronic music business as a party promoter, record shop , vinyl and cd distributor and finally as a front man of the first Psytrance label in Mexico “SSR”.
Influenced by techno, electro, house and progressive sounds, this duo is committed to deliver quality dance music and rock the world dance floors.

With a successful debut EP "Elegantly Wasted" Monolythe started its career, "Jumping High" and "Sublime" were showcased in different radio shows, charted in some of the mayor download shops and supported and played by Top DJ s around the world. Monolythe continued with some successful remixes like Connected by Jaques C & Alkatraz which was played in the summer of 2008 from Ibiza to Brazil…
In 2009, Big Alliance and Monolythe decided to mark a new page on the book, as they joined forces with Straight Up!

Music to open its doors to new and established artists alike, highlighting the freshest and most unique Progressive and Electro songs from the commercial and underground world.
