I had not listened to Missing Persons in over twenty years when "Walking in L.A." with the great line "Nobody walks in L.A." came over the radio in the freezer section of the grocery store. I FROZE in my path...because the music is still spectacular! WOW

Absolutely one of the best pop-songs penned in the 80's. Very, very catchy riff.

And don't forget... Dale was taking her fasion sense from the 70's Glam-art of Warhol and Bowie. Nothing is ever new... just endless retreads. What is interesting, is that each generation thinks they are so "dangerous" with their fashions. I used to think Dale was dangerous when I saw her at the US Festival. (Dangerously HOT!) But now... (Madonna in the late 80s), Lady Gaga... their shock-appeals for eyeball attention is just so lame. Its been done before... Lady Gaga doesn't shock me, she bores me. Like the music, but the "personality" is... eh.... meh.

All this talk of Lady Who ? never heard a single song by that dubious personage . Don't intend to either . That name is a huge turnoff for me. Sort of like the Butt Hole Surfers . But they actually make some good music : ) Ahhhhh !!! This song brings back some really good memories : )
