Originally, Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz only had 22 songs and Miley's team of advisors had warned her that the album was too long. In response, Miley created the instrumental song "Miley Tibetan Bowlzzz", resulting in a total of 23 songs. Just to prove her independence and leadership in this project, it was "not to be mean, just to prove that can't be too long", she said in an interview with The New York Times.
