you most likely have the widely released 2007 version of the album which has a remix of Soft Rock Star as track 10. Metric actually finished this album by 2001 and never released it. This particular tracklisting is the OG version: www.discogs.com/Metric-Grow-Up-And-Blow-Away/release/5989158 Most people who have the "2001 version" probably have this one which was supposedly put up by Metric: www.discogs.com/Metric-Grow-Up-And-Blow-Away/release/3986745 It's missing Siamese Cities and The People (which aren't on the main 2007 release either but are from EPs released 1998-2001), lacks London Halflife and the Soft Rock Star remix (both also from a 2001 EP), but it does include White Gold as well as Fanfare. Finally, the main 2007 release doesn't have the tracks Fanfare, Torture Me, and Parkdale so if you want to be a Metric completist, as far as the different versions of this album go, you're missing Siamese Cities, Parkdale, The People, Torture Me, and Fanfare. :)

The band reminds me of Blonde Redhead on this album more than once, and I like that.

I like Metric, I'm a little surprised I like Metric. Whatever, why do you say this is the best album? What I mean is on the other album's pages is always the same commentary for all the different albums. What's in this? I just listened The Twist, great track.
