This is the first song I learned to play on drums - a good beginner song, thanks Lars.

I like it how Hetfield goes crazy in this, that tick tick sounds like a nervous breakdown.

In my town, everyone, everywhere, all the same. They're all playing shitty corporate kpop songs, all the time. So let me return to my dorm to escape all these craps, plug the earphones to my phone, open Spotify, play post-rock and ambient songs, lights low, volume high, take me to the world that is my fate.

The problem of St. Anger in my opinion it's the duration, with 10 minutes less it would be perfect. I don't get why people hate this sound, it's like garage punk mixed with metal, it was in their intentions and i like the courage they had doing this.

It's a funny cycle that people complaining about the song/album attract people complaining about the people complaining about it. It's a silly notion that people should ONLY be allowed to say that they like or love something. If they don't like it, they have every right to say so. If you take issue with what they say, then say so and explain why; but simply telling them to shut up or ignore it or stop being childish is very silly and leads nowhere. With that being said, this song is pretty bad lyrically but musically it's far from awful. In my opinion, anyway.

These are the absolute WORST lyrics I have ever heard in all of heavy metal. It also has some of music's most Incredibly awesome, rage-filled guitar riffs, and that whole intro is 5-star.

Say what you want, but this song has some really great, memorable riffs. It may not be Metallica's best, but it's also not as bas as many fans make it to be. [2]

Listening to live version from "2006/08/15 Seoul, South Korea". I won't argue that SA is their weakest album, but it sounds pretty good live. They should stop pretending this album doesn't exist and bring back some of these songs.
