Traveling in a fried-out Kombi On a heroic trail, head full of Pfizer I met a strange puppy, it made me nervous I better use it in my next clinical trial And I said: I come from a land down under Where Science wins and dogs suffer Can't you hear, can't you hear the blender You better run, you better take cover Buying breeds from a man in Brussels They were locked in cages and fitted with muzzles I said, "Could you make-a me an Impossible Whopper?" He just smiled and gave me a Vegemite sandwich And he said: I come from a land down under Where results flow and dogs shudder Can't you hear, can't you hear the flamethrower You better run, you better take cover.

I'm quite surprised Cargo doesn't have more listens, vastly superior to Business as Usual, although I guess it would be due to Down Under.

no im not. I've read that they capitalized on the police hiatus between albums and when they released synchronicity everyone forgot about them as they should because the police is better

Sure the Police are much better, but to say MaW ripped them off is a stretch. Really dont sound much alike. Different styles. And to say they capitalized on the police hiatus between albums is laughable. Im sure they were holding off putting an album out waiting for the police to take a break

Both bands fell under a genre often referred to as "white reggae", that was I supposed pioneered by The Police. So no doubt they were influences on M.A.W.. But Men...put their own style, humour and local colour on the sound.
