Track selection here shows you how diverse the band's tastes in music are. Critics tend to act like the Melvins' only influence was Black Sabbath (and possibly Punk), but there's always been an over-arching influence from 70s Classic Rock in general (KISS in particular), Flipper (arguably their biggest single inspiration; look how many times they've covered Flipper), Black Flag, the Germs, Venom and numerous others. You don't get to be as great of a band as the Melvins if you only have one influence and try to just recreate that artist's sound. Anyway, these covers are well performed and mostly fun, but I don't get the urge to spin this one too often.

When i saw the tracklist i thought that Warhead was going to be a UK Subs cover, but it turnt out to be a Venom Cover of the same title, which made me very happy! Excellent stuff
