"Give It to Me Right" is a song by Canadian R&B singer Melanie Fiona. It is her debut single off her first studio album The Bridge. The song was released to radio outlets on February 28, 2009. "Give It to Me Right" samples the 1968 hit "Time of the Season" by The Zombies. The lyrics were written by Fiona herself.
The song debuted on the Canadian Hot 100 at number 96 on the issue date of March 7, 2009. It has so far peaked at number 20. The song has also gained American success debuting at number 95 on the U.S. Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs on March 14, 2009. It has peaked at number 57 on the chart. On Croatian Top 40 song debuted at number 13 and so far peaked at number 2. In Italy on the week dated May 19th the single debuted at number 17 and peaked at number 9 so far. It has also peaked at number 41 on the UK Singles Chart, but fell 23 places to #64 the week after its peak.
