Biography
Meghan Tonjes is a singer / songwriter from Detroit, Michigan. She is known in the YouTube community mostly for putting up a weekly series on YouTube, called "Request Tuesday" where she takes popular and not so popular music and makes her own acoustic versions of them.
In 2009 she released her debut album "Be In Want" that hit #8 on the Singer-Songwriter iTunes charts after appearing on the Ellen Degeneres show in 2011.
In the spring of 2011, she joined the Digitour, a Youtube-centric tour, for the Grand Rapids and Nashville dates. She also became one of 25 people chosen for Youtube NextUp, where she attended a video bootcamp and was given $35,000 to grow her channel and content.
In the summer of 2011 she released her second full-length album, "This Year", with DFTBA, an indie label that works with YouTube musicians.
