Biography
Max Ablitzer is a music composer, producer and multi-instrumentalist. Born in Germany, he studied music in France and today lives and works near Paris. He has been writing music on commission for film and video games for 10 years, while continuing to develop his own music style. He mainly composes "dark haunting violin" (as he wants to put it), dark, lonely, melancholic violin and piano songs with poetic pictures from the beauty of nature tell dream-like stories.
In 2011, he released his first personal music album: Dark Violin Songs – a collection of intimate pieces for violin and piano, built on the principle of forward moving repetitions. After meeting with Tishani Doshi this same year, he started an artistic collaboration with her, interpreting the same repertoire on the piano, now combined with spoken poetry.
