Martin Shaw - The Midi Maestro
Martin is able to entertain audiences of all ages because of his unique talents and ability to perform any style of music using advanced musical synthesis and MIDI. During Martin’s musical career he has been engaged as a country fiddler, concert violinist, pop artist and one man band. In his latest show, From Brahms to Broadway he bridges the gap from classical music to country with a couple of stops on “Broadway”!
Known coast to coast from his longtime association with Canada’s Carlton Show Band, Martin has received critical acclaim for his fiery fiddling and thrilling interpretations of country classics like the “Orange Blossom Special” and the “Devil Went Down To Georgia. Martin has recorded his soul-stirring arrangements of traditional Irish and Scottish melodies on an album entitled Fabric of the Lands. He continued his exploration of world music with his next recording called New World Mosaic which has received national airplay.
