A bunch of incredible tracks! Not certain why this one is disliked by so many... Costa del Slough/Under the Sun is really fun, Answering Machine isn't quite as good but it's short enough that it doesn't get annoying, also pretty fun. Three Minute Boy, Now She'll Never Know and These Chains are three beautifully emotional tracks... maybe they should've been split across different albums cause I find the atmosphere starts to get a bit stale... the songs themselves are great though! Born to Run isn't a favourite of mine but it's a cool change for the band, plus it gives us a nice change of pace. Cathedral Wall is one of their most chilling tracks to date, and A Few Words for the Dead gives me butterflies when H suggests: "Or you could love". Always puts a big smile on my face. Love this band, and this album!

Ok now, first time I listen to Marillion and i decided to pick up this album cause 1998 was so important for me in music, I give it a spin and I'm simply blown away by its beauty, then i come here and find out Marllion fans consider it their worst one or close to it, damnit other albums must be beyond my imagination! Anyway people here say it's average album but if you visit the pages of the single songs you'll find someone saying "this song is masterpiece"

Very underrated. Three Mintue Boy, Born To Run and A Few Words For the Dead are one of the greatest songs they've ever written. People, wake up!

This album starts pretty badly, but once "Now She'll Never Know" comes on, the album is perfect in all tracks afterwards.

To me, this is within the weakest years of Marillion - (97/99). This is an ok album ...but really lacks the depth of anything they did previously. That said, Now She'll Never Know, Born To Run & Cathedral Wall are brilliant! :)

I just don't understand why people don't like Radiation more. I think it's filled to the brim with creativity and fantastic song writing. Radiation always leaves me aglow.

It probably is their weakest album - but I still love it! The songs are all good (sometimes very very good), but there's a little less variety than usual...
