For you commenting on the instrumentation/melody: the majority of it (except ~2:52-3:24 and 5:22-6-14) is directly taken from, or based around - if you will - David Axelrod's "A Little Girl Lost" from the album Songs of Experience (1969).

The new album promises to be spectacular. At least the first single is awesome.

I like it more than anything on Postcards from a Young Man. I have really high hopes for this album.

The instrumentation on this is just so beautiful. I don't think that the lack of electric guitars on the album is going to be an issue if the others songs are of this standard.

It reminds me of "Door To The River" a little bit. Which -for me- is a good thing. Really nostalgic and melancholic.
