Idk about everyone else, but these guys were by far the weakest band on The Aggression Sessions. Also why the hell did they cover Anastacia of all things?

I liked "Waste of Myself", was kinda bummed they didn't play it live when I saw em earlier this year.

Easy resume: Malevolence is a Hardcore/Groove Metal band.... (Beatdown Hardcore most part of the songs + Metalcore in some parts) = call it as "Hardcore" XD

Look at "Karma" song of Malicious intent album. A perfect example for what I explain. 00:00 until 01:11 of the music is easy to say "This is a Metalcore/Groove Metal", but in 01:12 everything change.. this seems a Hatebteed influences (Most closer to a Beatdown Hardcore or simply "Hardcore"), until 01:29 when be more "Melodic" (for me, this part is just Groove Guitars with a simply/clean vocal, idk what genre is in this part but this isn't Beatdown Hardcore), BUT it was until 01:56.. the rest is completely Beatdown Hardcore..

rule of thumb, ignore anyone capitalizing genre names like they're proper nouns because 9 times out of 10 they don't know what they're talking about

It is different. Self-Supremacy LP was really painful to finish to listen to - it just too long for me. But EP was pure gold.

I really wish they would have stuck with the more raw approach to their clean-ish vocals.

Despite the complete meathead image they have such a good variety of metal and hardcore influences, I hear everything from Hatebreed and Stampin' Ground to Crowbar and even a little Testament esque shred, awesome display of musicianship and a fantastic example of when hardcore and metal come together and it just works.

is this best hardcore of this year or is this just very best hardcore of this year. i just cant tell, but i am pretty sure that vocals and guitar works and drums are all precious.

got mixed feelings about the uk malevolence, can't decide if like it or dislike it lol, i really like their heavy mosh parts but sometimes they get way too techy for me

gotta love the Pantera influences. Great debut album from a decent metalcore band.
