Dear Society was the intended lead single from Madison Beer's debut studio album Life Support (2021), later being replaced by "Good in Goodbye". It was released May 17, 2019 by Access Records. Although the song didn't make it to Life Support's final tracklist, the chorus can be heard shortly on the album's closing track "Channel Surfing / The End".
