Led by sax virtuoso Maceo Parker, the group Maceo and All the King's Men was made up of disgruntled James Brown sidemen who left the Godfather of Soul's touring & recording revue in a mass exodus in 1970.

Trumpet - Richard Griffith
Many of the musicians would return over the years to play again with James Brown.
