listening to DOOM after learning about his being homeless for most of the 90's and early 00's... it's some real shit, and this record is no exception. A lot of the time it feels like (on FOOD), he's coming to terms with what the last 10 years has been. amongst the abstract wordplay and endless non-sequiturs we find constant mentions of street urchins and "hoes" and orphans and such. There's a lot to unpack, maybe one day I'll sit down and sift through everything, but until then I'll just enjoy the great music.

I used to hate rap and this album literally changed my opinion about an entire genre. It's that good

Even if I had DOOM's incredibly verbose vocabulary, I still dont think I could find the words to adequately express just how much I adore this album.

I love the dialogue samples that a Doom staple, but he goes a little overboard for me on this one with it. Still, a really creative and unique album, so many killer lines

This album is delectable. Too many skits though and needs more of DOOM rapping. Other than that the tracks he actually decides to do anything on are top notch.
