My first non-Commodore 64/Amiga “Wintel PC” was a 486 dx2 66mhz with 8 megs ram and 1 meg video ram, and like a 400ish megabyte HD. This is what I used to get online circa ‘93/94. Good old dial up (9600 baud, if memory serves). Waiting several minutes for your porn (image… video was basically unheard of yet due to speeds) to load, line by slow ass line. Kids these days have no idea. I miss IRC, Usenet, BBS’s, etc.

Ставь лайк, если тоже редактировал AUTOEXEC.BAT и CONFIG.SYS, гонял файлы в Volkov Commander и редактировал тексты в ЛЕКСИКОНе

In my high school not long ago (around 2018) we had a subject about how computers worked and during lab practices we would use MS DOS with Volkov Commander and some other tools. Some labs were about hand editing the disk's MBR in a hex editor and seeing what happened. These labs were by far the most fun during all of high school and it makes me jealous of everyone who had the chance to live and grow up in an era where these tools and this level of system access was the norm.

I understand why some people dislike the vocals on DMA, but I think they're really cool. Since the lyrics are meaningless (according to MBR, the vocals are in OX, a language made by Öxxö Xööx, good luck translating the lyrics to English) I think (and listen to) the vocals as just like any other instrument in the track.
