Biography
Luna Ray is an electronica/rock project from Kerkrade, The Netherlands, formed by Luna Rosa Pubben in 2008. Combining the pop sensibilities of acts such as Garbage and Little Boots with the anger and frustration of Nine Inch Nails and Filter, Luna Ray consists of an entirely custom blend of synthesizer and guitar goodness. In other words, whether you want to dance, sing along to it or break things, this might just be the soundtrack you're looking for.
The eponymous debut album, Luna Ray, was originally passed out among friends in 2008, before an improved version was released online in 2009. In the absence of a regular live band, the next few years were mostly spent crafting the follow-up, Carnival of Monsters, which was finally released in the summer of 2011.
