I was raised on this man's voice - hearing it reminds me of my own father so much. An amazing writer who can write with such heartbreaking honesty. The whole Wainwright family is brilliant.

Hey, some friends of mine are doing very well with their latest track right now. They're at #1 in the iTunes singer/songwriter charts and really want to hit to UK Top 40 if possible! You can check out both artists (Elliott Morris & Dancing Lotus) here on last.fm, but I recommend you youtube them as it will blow your mind. Anyway if you could purchase this track for only 79p and share the love to others and help the cause it would be much appreciated! Frank Turner, Andy McKee, Newton Faulkner, Dave McPherson, Seth Lakeman and Get Cape Wear Cape Fly already have, having played with the artists before, as well as Dale Campbell, Simon Bates, Tom Robinson and Adrian Lester! Cheers =) x http://itunes.apple.com/gb/album/spend-some-time/id429484178?i=429484186

Love Loudon, who I think is under-rated - whereas Rufus' voice isn't nearly as good as he thinks it is (doesn't compare with Jeff Buckley for example).

Hey Loudon fans! If you like Loudon, you may like what I am about to pimp. I know that people don't usually click these links, but I figured that I would give this a shot. My two man comedy pop band released our EP, and we'd love to get more listeners. We're called Sponsored By Poverty, and you can check us out here on Last.fm: http://www.last.fm/music/Sponsored+by+Poverty Thanks!

Y'all can pretty much ignore what Frogsound says below, he/she must have been delirious with fever to make such an irrational statement. Loudon's output after the first three albums has NOT been "pretty poor apart from odd tracks". If that were true then he wouldn't be all that great, he'd just be some has-been who was only good in his 20's, wouldn't he? Does that really sound like Loudon to you?! And it's the odd tracks over the years that have ALWAYS stood out, including those first three releases, which is true of pretty much every other artist, isn't it? Even the greatest albums ever recorded generally have a few standout tunes, so do we level the same comment at those artists, too? It's madness, I tell you!
