"DNA" is a single by British girl group Little Mix taken from their debut album of the same name DNA. The sophomore single is the group's follow-up and third overall single from their first original track Wings. "DNA" is due to be released on 11 November 2012 in the UK and Ireland. The new single's name was revealed after a picture was taken of "DNA" written on a clapperboard. The single's lyric video was debuted on YouTube on 1 October 2012 and subsequently received its first airplay on Capital FM on the same day.
On 17 September, the album's artwork was unveiled via the group's official Facebook page, which also confirmed that the album's second single, "DNA", would premiere on radio on 1 October and will be officially released on 12 November, a week prior to the release of the album. Jesy Nelson said that "DNA" shows a "totally different side to Little Mix".
