There are at least two artists that go by the name Little Green. (No.1) Singer-Songwriter Little Green, otherwise known as Amy Nelson, is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Sydney. Incorporating acoustic guitar loops, vocals, sax and flute into her live show, she has been likened to artists such as Joni Mitchell, Jethro Tull, Tash Sultana, and the guy from Anchor Man.

The artists debut single, Sweet Pain, premiered on The Music, hit number 14 on the Triple J Unearthed pop charts and lead to a sold-out single launch show in 2019. Her music is a unique blend of acoustic jazz, indie, folk and pop. She has travelled around Australia working with some of Australia’s best young producers for her highly anticipated next release.
Her live show is an authentic mix of storytelling, crowd banter/sing alongs, and flute/sax solos, all underpinned by an extraordinary sense of musicality, and ability to connect with an audience. Little Green aims to share a childlike appreciation of the world, allowing others to access their own inner child through the music.
(No.2) Judy and John Ellis have worked together writing music and songs for over 10 years now occasionally sticking their heads up in bands such as the (mostly) fondly remembered Fresh Vibes of Manchester 96/97.
After wandering the deserts of planet music industry in various vehicles over time, they decided to record some of their own music without any thoughts of marketplace but which had the rooted elements which they both loved and shared - blues, folk-world, hip-hop, funk, soul….you know the score. In February this year a 7-piece band was assembled by the GReeN MoTHeRshiP of like minds for 2 solid days rehearsal at Moolah studios, Stockport, magic or mujic happened and continued to beam down at our first gigs 4/5 March at Matt&Phred's Manchester.
