Goose bumps at 3:13. Wish I could go see a Japan concert, or they'd come to Old Europe. Sigh.

The meaning of this song title seems annoyingly obvious to me now: they ARE (probably) highlighting a phonetics issue with Phantasia soundling like it begins with F. Obviously the question then is why not call it 'F' and it's REALLY ANNOYING ME THIS X_X;; Actually in all seriousness they probably just wanted to make sure that ppl not native English speakers pronounced it correctly as...ef and not fugh or something which wouldn't sound as cool as a song title,

I spoke to Akinori Yamamoto (drummer) about this at a gig and apparently there's no connection. So here's another theory I came up with on the way home (i.e. I couldn't ask him about this one): Ef I'm sure isn't a syllable in the Japanese language so maybe this track name is a (strange) way of highlighting the differences between the two languages. POLYSICS did something similar with 'I My Me Mine' (pronouns being the topic there).

Just found out that there's a manga/light novel/game/anime series called Ef released long before this album so I'm wondering if there's a connection. I have to say though based on my first impressions of this series (i.e. I haven't read/read/played/watched this at all beforehand) I can't imagine these guys taking an interest in this series!
