Lise Karlsnes is a Norwegian singer/songwriter. She is the lead vocalist in popular pop/rock band Briskeby, which she joined in 2000, best known for their debut album Jeans For Onassis. The band went on a hiatus in 2006 after touring their third album Jumping On Cars, and made a comeback with the single Rookie Mistakes in 2015.

Lise's first release as a solo artist was the song Come With Me into the Furnace which was featured in the Norwegian film 'De Gales Hus' in 2008. In 2010 she did a number of live shows and released a solo single under the name Lise Of The Woods, though later decided to ditch the rocky direction she was headed in, in favour of a more poppy and dance-inspired sound. She released her single Red Hot in September 2011, with her debut album Dance or Die following on February 3rd, 2012. 'Dance or Die' was produced and co-written by Thomas Eriksen, probably best known for his work with artists such as Mira Craig, Sichelle and Lars Vaular.

Lise participated in Norway's Melodi Grand Prix 2012 with the song Sailors, also from the album Dance or Die, competing with artists like Malin and Lisa Stokke.
