This should be considered one of the LP classics, criminally underrated song and album!

Might be my favorite now too, tbh. It's a close call between this, The Messenger and TLTGYA.

It's impressive to create such a melancholy with so many major chords. A song in a league of its own!

When you were about to die and your brain didn't know what to do but flash out all the memories. Yes, this is one of the things that brain wanted me to hear. This was my death bed song. Glad I came back alive. Everytime listening to this reminded me of near death experience. I think it was scary but beautiful to leave the earth with this song almost.

This is easily the superior song built on a repeated piano note E released as a single on October 4, 2010.

I’ve been a music elitist for a while now and have long suppressed the part of me that genuinely considers this track to be one of my favourite songs of all time. I hope Linkin Park becoming a bit of a meme didn’t weigh on Chester too heavily, but I think it did. Ironically they became that way because Linkin Park meant so much to so many kids of my generation. I don’t think I’ve ever listened to the rest of this album but this song is really peak Linkin Park. A band could really churn out a song that evoke emotion in a teenager like no other. I’m 26 and this song makes me sing along like I’m a angsty again. As I’m writing this, the next song on the album started playing… goddamn this band was inconsistent lol. Much love. Hope someone reads this and it resonates

I can relate to that. I didn't really know any of their post meteora stuff (well, except for What I've done and their collab with Jay Z) and only came to know cause of their tribute concert in honor of Chester, which I've watched recently. This track was definitely the most pleasant surprise for me, it's a great song (and so is the version they performed in this concert). :)

It's not because something is popular (or because it became kind of a meme as you said) that it isn't good. Linkin Park is really good, and I'm with you, this song is one of my favorites ever.

This, The Catalyst, Iridescent, Burning In the Skies, Blackout, When They Come For Me, Robot Boy and In Flames' The Quiet Place remind me of 2010. [2] Anyone who hates on this album has no idea what good music is!
