This is rather a downer. I Expected something like Reanimation, I mean, partially rerecorded vocals, shitton of guests, but unlike Reanimation, in it's core Recharged is just a remix collection, and there's nothing more to it. We live in an internet era, where you can hear shitton of remixes done by everyone, from schoolkids to professional dj's or whatever for free, so why does it even exist? Because money and The Light That Never comes.

There is nothing wrong with this one. [2] What did you except? When they brought out Hybrid Theory it was the rising of Rap. So they addapted Reanimation to it. Now it's all about electro-pop. They adopted to it, also on "regular" albums. No doubt, Reanimation is better. But the forerunner was better, too than to this one.

Some good remixes, the dance remix of Powerless is pretty good but most of the songs fall flat with too much production. It just feels too erratic in places, makes it come off as a total mess. Shame, could have been so much better. They seriously should have thrown some MTM and ATS mixed tracks. That could have been interesting.

Sorry to say it but this album is so weak... The first LP album I'm not going to buy. [2] Reanimation is much better than this. [3]

Not even halfway through this album, aaand... I'm not one of those whiny fans who complain about their new sound and keeps asking them to "go back to their roots", but damn, this album makes me miss their old sound. I was expecting something more like Reanimation... I really dig Reanimation. But I guess I'll have to listen this album in its entirety and then comment.

I'll be Gone (Vice Remix), Rubin's interpretation of ALTNC (which is better than original IMO) and Killsonik's LITE are only worth to listen songs from that album. I think i can get someday COG remake, but Mike ruined Victimized... Well, i've found positive side, Shinoda has got awesome verses in IBG and STB.

I haven't really sat down and given this a good listen all the way through though I do intend to do so soon. From what I've heard so far it's been a bit messy with production and the sound effects but I'm assuming this is the angle they were going and I can see it sort of working. Will write something else after a long decent listen but I'm open to a huge difference.

And that's why this is not a very good album in my opinion. I can listen to A Light That Never Comes and the I'll Be Gone Vice Remix but the other tracks aren't my cup of tea. I love Linkin Park to death but I'll just go back to listening to Reanimation for now - for me that's the best album I've ever heard. The Skin To Bone remix works for me too, mainly because it's my favorite track off the original Living Things album. Overall there is one very positive thing about this album though: Mike's raps. I dig the verses he has on Recharged, so I'm hoping that another Fort Minor record will eventually happen or that Mike will at least continue to pour his rap energy into future Linkin Park tracks. ## Good comment, DreClawsPrime. I'm not used to reading sensible comments in last.fm shoutboxes anymore.

@Mamagoto-chan, actually, this album is not even like Reanimation. In Reanimation they actually worked on the remixes along with the featuring hip-hop artists. Recharged is an album featuring few EDM artist remix their tracks, linkin park didn't work on it (apart from the steve aoki and mike shinoda remix)

For me, Linkin Park's dead (or maybe dying). They intend to experiment, but they re doing things that are already done and that no longer surprise. Th only thing they get is becoming more and more commercial. I've listened to the two songs in this album, and they re not going in the right way. my opinion.
