Arguably the hardest track off ”Lil Boat 2”, “NBAYOUNGBOAT” marks the first collaboration between Yachty and YoungBoy Never Broke Again (formerly NBA YoungBoy), an up-and-coming rapper from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The track sees Boat and YoungBoy detailing their lavish lifestyles, criminal activities and trap life, among other topics, all without a hook. The track features production from Yachty’s friend and longtime collaborator Digital Nas.
The song’s structure has been used before by Yachty on the A$AP Ferg assisted “Terminator” and on Tee Grizzley’s “From the D to the A”.
On March 30, 2022, “NBAYOUNGBOAT” was certified platinum by the RIAA.
