Biography
Lee Chapman (born 1988) is a self-taught composer and musician from Burnley, United Kingdom. He made a name for himself as one of the most diverse and intense artists in Rīga, Latvia where he lives performing as a solo artist and bandleader (Salt Wound, Single Window, MVTE).
Now working primarily on electric guitar, Chapman honed his craft through fragmented improvisation and free expression. Spanning the gripping and guttural and sing several extended techniques with some use of close electronic systems, Chapman's sonic palette focuses on the intersection between instant gratification and asceticism alluding to the human compulsion for self.
