I swear I hear two basses in this track, one that has a very 'treble-y' tone, while the other sounds a lot more like a standard deep bass tone. Anyone know anything about how this song was recorded?

Listening to "Led Zeppelin III" released on October 5, 1970. Many of the songs featured on the album were conceived in mid-1970 at Bron-Yr-Aur, an 18th-century cottage in Gwynedd, Wales, on a hilltop overlooking the Dyfi Valley, three miles north of the market town Machynlleth. This set the tone for this masterpiece of music. No electric or running water, Page & Plant where roughing it(LOL), they only had a staff of 7. Song written by Bonham, Page & Plant.

So full of depth & sexy, one of my favourite tracks from one of my favourite (& in my estimation, most underrated) Led Zeppelin albums.

What an album this is - banshee screams from a viking ship and this call for "all your love".

This is a great song to blast in the car, especially when you're going "Out on the Tiles".

Picked this song for my final for my drum lessons last year. A whole string of solos, all to myself.
