Leah McCrae
The old saying goes, the apple don’t fall far from the tree. In this case it’s two trees, making Leah McCrae deeply rooted in American soul music. The only daughter of George McCrae (known for his international hit “Rock Your Baby”) and Gwen McCrae (known for her “Keep The Fire Burning”), began singing at the age of seven in the church choir and graduated to singing backup for her mom in the studio. She’s lived and performed all over the world, finely crafting her particular brand of sophisticated soul singing.
