What Just Happened? is Leah Kate’s third EP, which includes her hit song “Fuck Up The Friendship”, “Calabasas”, and “Veronica”.
Leah announced the project on Instagram a month before its release:
“MY NEW EP “WHAT JUST HAPPENED” IS COMING OUT OCTOBER 1ST. IM SO PROUD OF THESE SONGS AND IM SO EXCITED FOR YOU ALL TO HEAR THEM. PRE-SAVE IN BIO. LOVE YOU GUYS A FUCKIN LOTTTTTTT 🚀🥵😭🧚🏿♀️✨🥵“
Shortly after, she revealed the tracklist on Instagram, and a week later, she shared a snippet of the EP’s opening track, “F U Anthem,” through her TikTok account. A few days later, she shared a new snippet of “Shit Show,” which she released in September 2021 as the fourth single of the EP.
