Las Grecas, just a note to give you some information. One of these two women is dead,Tina she was born in 1957 and died in 1995, she had mental issues, she took a little too many drugs and tried to kill Carmela by stabbing her with a knife in the shoulder.
They are sisters, Carmela was born in 1954 and is still alive.Their duo started in 1973 and stopped recording in 1979, due to Tina entering jail, and mental hospitals from which she repeatedly escaped.Tina was seeing roaming the streets of Madrid in a stupor after her many escapes and died in 1995 of Aids .
They were discovered by Paco De Lucia
Their style is Flamenco Funk, they started singing at the end of the Franco (Dictator of Spain) era, in Spain he died in 1976 and controlled all of the media, music, Television, newspapers, etc.
