Finally got to see LSD live this Saturday at Terminal Five (NYC); opened by the very talented Parker Millsap band. Awesome scheduling, combining Millsap's contemporary heartland soul with LSD's fusion of jazz, R&B, and rock. Millsap's group played with energy, showing off his signature falsetto and range. The band's finale "Truckstop Gospel" didn't disappoint. IMO, Lake Street Dive truly showed their polish. The set-list included uptempo gems like "What About Me" and "Bad Self Portraits", beautifully re-imagined covers of "Walking On Broken Glass" and "Rich Girl", and a catalog displaying the band's unique fusion-salad of musical talents ("Spectacular Failure", "Seventeen", "Clear a Space"). Fan-favorite "You Go Down Smooth" was excellent, as was the encore duet cover of Nazareth's "Love Hurts" with Parker Millsap. Price's voice blended so beautifully with Millsap's I was left hoping for a collaborative project. Great show!

I bought a 3 day pass to Austin City Limits in Oct. I am currently going through the bill and listening to all the bands that I have not heard of. What a Saturday night find this lot are. I imagine they would be a great festival band. I look forward to seeing these guys live...

I just added an official promo photo for the band from 2013: http://www.last.fm/music/Lake+Street+Dive/+images/98143177. Please up vote it since it's an official, semi-recent photo.

Just saw y'all in Portland this past weekend. Discovered you in Harrisonburg, VA when we (the University Program Board) brought you to James Madison University and I've been in love ever since! Thank you for your smooth sounds!

Great fusion of pop, rock and jazz. LSD has a uniqueness that's rare in today's contemporary music.
