La Costa Brava is an independent Spanish pop group that sprung in 2003 from the friendship of Fran Fernandez (Australian Blonde) and Sergio Algora (El Niño Gusano and Muy Poca Gente), accompanied by Daniel Garuz (Pulmón and Muy Poca Gente) and Eloy Cases (René and Muy poca gente). Later Enrique Moreno (drums in Pulmón) joined them. The sound of the group reveals sixties and seventies influences.
Sergio Algora died on July 9th, 2008 and after that, Fran said La Costa Brava ended as band
