Kirt is a classically trained composer and multi instrumentalist who combines elements of rock, indie pop, electronic music and orchestral music. Tradition and the future unite to create this eclectic sound. While being a solo artist, he works with various other artists. Currently he is living and playing in Buenos Aires Argentina with his band, which consists of Javier Bustos, Nicolás Ospina, Juan Huici and Alejandro Lopez. Kirt was born in Frankfurt a.M., Germany and grew up bilingually in a multinational school among pupils from forty eight different nations. At the age of sixteen Kirt decided to move to a music specialized school near London. Two Pink Floyd members had attended this school among many other talented musicians of the past and present. After spending one year on a ranch in Argentina in near isolation to refine his composition skills, Kirt moved back to England to study classical composition for 4 years. On his return to Germany, he began the work on the album “Cyan”. A second world war bunker, transformed into a state of the art studio, became Kirt´s headquarter for all production work, which included film music, German hip hop, electronic music, and the recording and mixing of “Cyan”.
After 2 years of meticulous work on “Cyan”, Kirt returned to beloved Argentina to complete the album. The artwork, promotion material and a second mastering (“Cyan” is one of the few albums that are successfully double mastered.), were all created in the inspiring city of Buenos Aires, where Kirt decided, to begin the distribution and promotion of “Cyan” in Argentina. Kirt has toured across the whole of Argentina since, and is approaching his final concert in Kika on the 9th of May in Buenos Aires, after which he will leave to the United States to continue promoting “Cyan”.
