KiRKUS originally having produced drum and bass for several years, in 2008 Kirkus; through a friend was introduced into the heavy hitting world of dubstep . Having only burst into the community recently, Kirkus has enjoyed a huge host of releases; working with some of the best names in dubstep. Not content with merely establishing himself as a prolific producer, he has gone on to release with over a dozen record labels and launched two himself, as well as being part of a massive second dubstep team “The Abomination“. Kirkus produces music with a twist, combining the best flavours of dubstep with myriad crisp and individual sounds, he takes the genre in a genuinely fresh direction. Mixing his signature gritty basses with a wealth of melodic to downright dirty vibes, his tracks have quickly become recognisable in clubs worldwide; repped by the biggest names in the dubstep community.
Execution records is his first label founded out of impatience spawned from not being able to introduce his tracks fast enough through other outlets. The label features himself and his partner in crime Jmanic and has enjoyed massive success through the scene. Having established themselves as a heavy hitting presence, together they created “The Abomination”.
Mass Execution & Hazardous Sounds are his newest label’s featuring the best in new talent across both the dubstep and drum and bass community. Not content with following suit with regards to other labels, Kirkus is continuing his pioneering sound and ear for quality into plucking the best and most original artists from the scene.
