Have to disagree on this one. Original mix of Tri-Logy is rather perfect as it is, can't really improve on that sound. The new mix sounds quite hollow and has lost all the electricity in it, and through it, its magically powerful grip. II's new mix was the most successful out of the three.

All three albums will be re-released with new mixing! 'I' in March - April this year, 'II' in the Autumn and 'III (Tri-Logy)' in Spring 2024. The new mix will be done by Robert Palomäki, who was mixing Kingston Wall live and was also a part of the recording sessions of II and III (Tri-Logy).

Anyone ever listen to a band so much and become so attached to them that you would listen to any old obscure garbage in their discography and love it just because it's them? Yeah, it makes me kinda sad that I can't do that with these guys :'( still, thank you for your legacy, Petri...

I wish the gig I stood in for last week allowed me to drum like the drummer here seems to have the freedom to do...

It's probably the first ever KW wallpaper made for widescreen (1920x1080) so enjoy!

Like zarqu said, depends on whatkind of music you prefer, but I believe it's possible for anyone to like all of their stuff. The discography is only 3 albums, so there's no need to limit yourself. For what it's worth, I'll try to describe each of the albums in some extent. The first half of "I" is very Led Zep / Hendrix acid psychedelic rock, while the latter half "Mushrooms" is like a progressive trip. The second album is more acoustic and even features violins on the song Istwan, but still has some solid rock tunes. Tri-Logy on the other hand is completely different and revolves almost entirely around the mythological themes of Ior Bock's "Bock Saga". It features synths and has a more eccentric overall sound. Tri-Logy is kind of a tragic record in a way if you're familiar with the backstory and what happened after. Some people have even speculated the last songs of Tri-Logy as Petri Walli's suicide notes. It's all great music though and I recommend it all.
