DL, also known as Kidd Voodoo, hails from the vibrant city of Santiago and has always been an ardent music enthusiast, demonstrating his deep passion for various musical realms by swiftly mastering several instruments. His journey in the music world began in 2016 when he joined the rock group "Resonancia Etérea," a pivotal step that allowed him to refine his compositions and ideas. In 2020, he embarked on a solo career, pivoting towards the urban genre, which significantly expanded his reach and garnered a substantial number of plays on tracks like "Negandonos." This move propelled Kidd Voodoo further into the Chilean urban music scene, fostering connections with renowned artists such as Tunechikidd, King Savagge, Harry Nach, and Jairo Vera, among others.
In 2022, Kidd Voodoo achieved a significant milestone in his budding career by completing his most important project to date: his debut EP, titled "Pa los satiros Vol.1." This EP serves as a compelling showcase of his musical influences and evolution, reflecting his journey through the world of rock and delving into a range of emotions and thoughts that had developed over the course of more than a year. The project explores a poignant musical concept, traversing various genres to convey his ever-changing states of mind. "Pa los satiros" features a total of six tracks, comprising three captivating singles and three collaborative efforts with Santi Valencia, Jairo Vera, and Harry Nach. The EP's production was skillfully handled by Red Fingers, Swift 047, and Ovyze, adding depth and richness to Kidd Voodoo's musical narrative.
