Kenmochi Hidefumi (Japanese: ケンモチヒデフミ), born August 2, 1981 in Shinagawa, is a Japanese musician, producer, composer, DJ, and member of Wednesday Campanella. He began in the jazz rap scene. Once he was discovered by Nujabes in 2008, he released an album ”Falliccia” from his label Hydeout Productions.
He joined Wednesday Campanella in 2012 as the group's producer, songwriter, and lyricist. Along this time, he ceased releasing solo material, focusing his efforts producing for groups like スタメンKiDS . After success with Wednesday Campanella, he has produced and wrote for a number of musicians like iri, Chara, KID FRESINO, and many more. He also has contributed music to many commercial and film projects. Beginning in 2018, he produced and wrote songs for xiangyu.
In 2019, he released the EP "沸騰 沸く ~FOOTWORK~", his first solo material in nine years. The EP and his resulting solo releases have shifted from the down-tempo jazz music to futuristic electronic music, particularly juke, footwork, and bass music. During the course of his time in Wednesday Campanella, his productions have shown this evolution from his earlier jazz and hip-house sound to the more futuristic electronic sounds that he is known for today.
