Man, the fanbase was not ready when they dropped this album. This is probably one of the most abstract and experimental albums I've ever heard. A subliminal masterpiece in every way, I'd even dare say prophetic for our current times. It's deeply atmospheric and it's a mood that can't quite be described. There is order in chaos for those who wish to tune in and 'listen'. And once you do, it has an almost mystical, hypnotic quality.

Still not my favorite of theirs, but I'm glad I gave it another listen. I didn't appreciate the amount of "space" they were trying to create the first time around, and not have it be as in-your-face as the first two.

This album is the proof that Karnivool is evolving and progressing as a band and as individual artists. Sound Awake may be easier to listen and comprehend, but Assymetry is superior to any level. It's complex, it's intelligent, it's deep. I'm grateful for the music these guys make.

It sure is a grower, but this is definitely their proggiest album with a great usage of ambient sounds. Lyrics are deep as usually, just how you expect from Karnivool. I also adore the Xylophones used on some of their songs!

Their best album so far. It just takes more time and effort to get into the swing of it.

To all the ones hoping it is a grower: It surely is! The lyrics helped me a lot to find a path through the more chaotic songs.
