The Karl Strømme Quintet are a band at the forefront of the Nordic jazz scene. By combining elements of the American standard jazz tradition with Norwegian folk music and other rhythmic inspirations, the quintet conveys the shifting Nordic landscape and complex emotions behind each piece.
