Whiplash (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) Was written and Produced to go along with the feature film Whiplash, a movie about an eager drummer, Andrew Neiman (Miles Teller) who hopes to be one of the greats, yet has difficulty when faced with high level band teacher Terrance Fletcher (J.K. Simmons). The album boasts a Jazz feel, and features songs played in the movie both by the actors and in the backbround. The album features both original songs like "Overture - From "Whiplash,"" and songs written by Jazz legends such as Duke Ellington, such as "Caravan."
