Biography

American singer-songwriter Justin Black is making a name for himself in live music venues all over Ireland. Justin, who hails from Arkansas, has spent the last few years in Ireland developing his unique style of music. Having appeared on BBC1’s Children In Need programme, Justin donated the proceeds of his last single ‘Sold’ to the charity. His popularity has been steadily increasing thanks to live performances and radio play on Radio Ulster’s Gerry Anderson, Alan Simpson and John Toal shows. Recognition of Justin’s ability as a singer-songwriter with a bright future prompted sponsorship from PS Audio. Recognising his talent Faith Guitars have also sponsored Justin to add to their portfolio of other headlining acts including The Hoosiers, Kate Nash and The Enemy to name but a few. Justin’s new single ‘Full Steam Ahead’ which is due for release in April has every chance of reaching the charts. The production and arrangement on the single is the work of Tim Bradshaw, producer and current keyboard player for Grammy award winner John Mayer. Tim who had previously spent 10 years playing with David Gray has given the song a real touch of class. Performing live has always been a major strength of Justin’s. Although predominately a singer-songwriter Justin’s eclectic style is amazing to watch. To see an audience’s reaction as he skilfully manoeuvres from his unique renditions of classic songs to modern R&B covers and beat boxing, all performed on an acoustic guitar is a memorable experience. -Platinum Promotions
