On “Unstable,” Justin Bieber recruits seventeen-year-old Australian singer/rapper The Kid LAROI to reminisce the memories of successful and trusting relationships.
The track comes as the two artists' first official collaboration, notably around a year after LAROI likened himself to Bieber in the aptly-titled snippet “Trap J Bieber.”
The collaboration was teased multiple times before its release, with both Bieber and LAROI hinting at it on their respective Instagram accounts. The track was eventually confirmed on March 11, 2021, just eight days before its official release.
