Biography
Julia Bondar is a Ukrainian, Barcelona-based electronic music artist, singer, and songwriter.
With her music, she reflects the modern underground movement after midnight. Debut album Blck Noir was released in 2018 when she formed part of the duo Principal Uno together with Andreas Zhukovsky. Where she sings and performs on modular synthesizer parts. The album was featured in a magazine about new technologies in the musical instruments "Open Source" 2019. In 2019 she continues as a solo artist under her real name Julia Bondar.
The same year she releases the second album "In My Neighborhood" on Detroit Underground, with the previously followed video for single "Queer" directed by Andreas Zhykovsky. In this album, she refers to the early memories from the childhood spent in Eastern Europe.
The second video for the track "Hail" was released a month after.
In her music and live acts, she uses only acoustic electronic analog and digital synthesizers, you will immediately feel the power of sound from the instruments, harmonically united and structured to the nice ambiance danceable gloom and hypnotic, industrial rhythms.
