Heart and Soul is a comprehensive box set by English post-punk band Joy Division, featuring nearly every track the band recorded between 1977 and 1980. The first two discs contain almost their entire studio output, including the classic albums Unknown Pleasures and Closer, along with singles such as “Transmission”, “Atmosphere”, and “Love Will Tear Us Apart”. Discs three and four collect rare demos and live recordings from various venues and dates, many of which were previously unreleased or hard to find. All tracks are digitally remastered for optimal sound quality. The box set also includes a 72-page booklet with photos, lyrics, and liner notes by Jon Savage. Heart and Soul showcases the band’s influential and groundbreaking music in its entirety.
