“Last Train Home” is the fourth single from John Mayer’s eighth studio album Sob Rock, following “Carry Me Away,” which was released in September 2019.
Mayer teased the song and the release of the album on social media four days before its release.
The day of the song’s release, Mayer confirmed that the track features an appearance by Maren Morris, marking the first time the pair have worked together on record.
