I hated this album deeply, but I always loved " Someone's" and "Ramparts". But suddenly, today, this album picked up my attention. I love how the album is fucked up and lo-fi as fuck, making these elements the special thing that makes this album so psychedelic and deep. PS: LOL @ the shouts about John destroying music. LOLOLOLOL.

This is his best by a country mile. It hits the mark on so many levels despite, or perhaps in favour of, its lo-fi textures. I find it absolutely mesmerising and it digs very deep into my soul. Introspective beauty plagued by demons and visions from the very bottom of Frusciante's well.

oh the beauty. I still remember the day I walked into the record store and came out with that album. I still think it's his best one. It's so minimalistic and so complex and beautiful and concise at the same time.
